About MoneyMakers.com
Why This Site Exists
This site came about due to a problem I was facing personally: job board sites that were filled with stale postings, had advertisements that were irrelevant to the job listing, or catered only to one particular industry and not the individual seeking employment.
It took me four years of looking for jobs at different periods of time—both from a home office and as a freelancer—and each time I did it, I had to have 12 open tabs in my browser because I was checking to see if it was not a fake ad. That frustration is basically the reason this site exists. I wanted one place that’s honest about what a job actually pays, what it actually involves, and whether it’s actually still hiring.
What We Actually Do
MoneyMakers.com is a website dedicated to job opportunities and career advice. This implies several things about my personal experience in finding jobs:
- Our listing of job opportunities in different industries includes transparent information regarding the salaries that they pay in addition to easy-to-understand language rather than using jargon related to business.
-
Guides and blogs related to topics such as remote working, career changes, freelancing, and earning money besides the traditional 9-to-5 have been published.
- We try to flag red flags. If a certain listing seems to be too good to be true, then it is safer not to include it.
Not only that, but we are not an employment agency, and we can never promise you a job. All we are trying to do here is emulate a well-informed acquaintance who has done enough job hunting in her life to cut down on your legwork.
Our Story
This website was set up in 2026 by Ali Abbas, located in Islamabad, Pakistan. Prior to that, [his/her/their] job role was “content writing,” and that is what helped in developing the concepts behind this website, as [he/she/they] were able to see first-hand what problems job seekers face in contrast to the expectations of job boards.
At first, it consisted of a few selected listings and a couple of blog articles on remote jobs. It has developed since then, but its purpose has remained the same—to create something truly helpful, rather than just traffic-driven.
How We Keep Things Honest
A few ground rules we try to hold ourselves to:
We fact-check what we can. Salary ranges and job details are pulled from listed sources, company postings, or publicly available data. When we’re estimating, we say so.
We update or remove stale content. A job board full of expired listings is worse than useless — it wastes people’s time. We do regular passes to clean things up.
We do not charge to raise our rating for any listing. If we ever do sponsored listings, we will always identify them.
Here are some facts about this site. We’re not a government resource, a licensed employment agency, or a guarantee of income. We’re a resource site built by people who’ve been through the job-hunting grind and wanted to make it a little less painful for the next person.
Who’s Behind It
MoneyMakers.com is currently run by Ali Abbas, along with contributors who help research listings and write career content. We’re a small operation—not a massive corporation—which honestly is part of why we can keep things straightforward instead of running everything through a marketing department.
